Tatting for Beginners - A Very Simple Edging

Описание к видео Tatting for Beginners - A Very Simple Edging

Here is another video for beginners. It's a very simple edging that is easy to remember and quick to execute. I was particularly careful to work more slowly as I sometimes have comments that I tat too fast (even in my beginners' videos) so I hope this video is better. You just need one shuttle and a ball of thread to make it. The sample I am making is tatted in size 20 Lizbeth thread.

The written pattern is as follows:
R3-3-1---1-3-3 (the 3 centre picots are graduated, one short, one long and one short), rw
*C3-3, rw
R3+3-1---1-3-3, rw
Repeat from *
For the corner, after a ring, omit the chain and make a second ring joined to the first at the first picot, reverse work and continue from *

Or, if you're a complete beginner and not used to tatting pattern terminology:
Make a ring of 3 stitches, 1 picot, 3 stitches, 1 picot, 1 stitch, 1 longer picot, 1 stitch, 1 picot, 3 stitches, 1 picot, 3 stitches, close the ring, reverse work.
*Make a chain of 3 stitches, 1 picot, 3 stitches, reverse work.
Make a ring of 3 stitches, join to last picot of previous ring, 3 stitches, 1 picot, 1 stitch, 1 longer picot, 1 stitch, 1 picot, 3 stitches, 1 picot, 3 stitches, close the ring, reverse work.
Repeat from *
