Big 12 Commissioner Brett Yormark says its to get all the best teams in. However, this is a classic money grab that leagues like MLB, NBA, and NFL have done. Syracuse Basketball is impacted because it'll have even less of an excuse to miss the field, avoiding the bubble will be critical, and the NIT probably goes away.
