Jack Gartside developed a number of great flies over the years and one of my favorites is the Soft Hackle Streamer. What made many of his flies so popular, besides the fact they catch fish, is just how simply they are constructed. The Soft Hackle Streamer is no exception. So simple to make but so incredibly effective. Plus, there is so much room for variations and adapting this fly to whatever your needs are. - Enjoy
