No Elevator at 181st Street Station in Washington Heights | MTA NYC Subway Update

Take a hike! Literally.

In order to use the 181st Street train station in Washington Heights, people are hiking up and down 133 steps to get to and from the A train. Commuters are used to taking escalators at the 181st Street station, but now all three escalators are out of commission until Feb 2023.
