AMAZING HIKE IN MUNNAR! & Kochi to Munnar | Munnar Vlog

I spent 3 nights and 2 days in Munnar in Kerala and on one of the days I went out on a hike which is one of the most popular things to do in Munnar and a popular way to see Munnar in South India.

The hike was incredible! It was tough with a lot of up hill walking and very hot but seeing the tea plantations, a viewpoint and a huge waterfall made it worth it.

In Munnar I stayed at The Wayside Cottages which was such a good place to stay, I stayed in their Deluxe Room which is a Treehouse. The family that own the cottages are so friendly, they picked me up from the bus station and they offer meals as it’s a bit remote. I also did the hike around Munnar with them.

Before Munnar I spent 2 days in Fort Kochi, I didn’t do a separate video for this but I did see Jew Town and Kochi Beach, it was very busy as it was New Year in Kochi.

To get from Kochi to Munnar I got a local bus, actually 3 local buses. I was a bit worried but they were easy to take as locals knew as a backpacker I was going to Munnar so they helped a lot and it was really cheap!
