One of Germany's oldest aristocratic families, the House of Baden,
is selling off the family silver in a landmark auction that will
last for 15 days. The eyes of the international fine art community
will be focussed on Baden-Baden where 25,000 art objects --
furniture, paintings, ceramics, glass, silver and textiles,
representing 500 years of family history -- will be up for grabs
from Thursday (29/9).
