Amani Baya - Drum Solo

A drum solo by the one and only Amani Baya during a past performance by NHP - Nairobi Horns Project live at Thursday Nite Live - Nairobi at J's Fresh Bar & Kitchen.

This is a mono mix - literally! I do not like to source my audio straight from the stereo mix - yes it has it's ups and downs - however on this mix, I recorded from one aux mix, which sacrifices some effects (Pole Rabai - dude loves some reverb on his sax) but it also gives me better control and focus of what goes into my recorded audio.

I will be sharing a snippet of the performance, recorded in mono tomorrow. All the more reasons why I love mixing live audio.
