This is an Acer CP311-2H screen replacement guide.

For the replacement process we’ll need a plastic pick and a metal pick.

To begin turn the laptop off and disconnect the power cord.

Start removing the display assembly. Insert the plastic pick between the assembly and the back cover on the right side.
Move the pick along the edge up and down. Continue separating the display assembly on the left side.
Insert the pick in the top left corner and move it along the edge to the opposite side.
Once separation is achieved place the display assembly on the keyboard.

Use a metal pick to peel off the clear tape securing the video cable. Using plastic pick open the connector’s bracket.
Disconnect the video cable. Using Phillips screwdriver remove the screw holding the microphone at the top of the
front assembly. Detach the microphone from the assembly. Using plastic pick detach the webcam board from the assembly.
Release the webcam and microphone cable from its channel and put it aside. Discard the old display assembly.

Take the new assembly and put it on the keyboard. Insert the webcam and microphone cable into its channel.
Insert the webcam board in its slot. Then insert the microphone in its slot. Secure the microphone with a Phillips screw.
Make sure that all cables are in the right positions. Reconnect the video cable. Close the connector’s bracket.
Secure it with a clear tape.

CAUTION! It is very important not to force any connectors. As well you must not twist
or slant the connector when plugging it in.

Lift the screen up. Press firmly in the bottom corners then go around the perimeter snapping the tabs back in place.
Close the laptop and make sure that the tabs are closed at the bottom of the screen

Turn the laptop on. And we are done!
