Blue Lagoon Experience in 2024: What to Expect?

Finally made it to Iceland after YEARS of having this country on my bucket list. I'll be travelling Iceland for a week and our first stop is the Blue Lagoon. In 2024, is the Blue Lagoon a tourist trap or still worth it? We did the day spa visit and had lunch at their Lava Restaurant.
