Triggering with Zularic Repetitor & transposing with Pamela’s New Workout | Modular patch breakdown

This patch breakdown looks at how to combine rhythmic triggers and voltage offsets to create a complex four-part harmonic groove from a single note (as demonstrated in my previous jam video:    • Deep techno with Zularic Repetitor, R...  )

The key ingredients here are Noise Engineering’s Zularic Repetitor, which generates four channels of rhythmic triggers, and ALM Busy Circuits’ Pamela’s New Workout, which creates voltage offsets to periodically transpose some of the note pitches (as well as clocking Zularic Repetitor and triggering drums).

The four voices are Mutable Instruments’ Plaits and Rings, a Behringer Model D and a Dannysound EN129 (running through the MRG LPF and VCA). Modulation comes from SSF DivKid RND Step, AI Synthesis Looping ADSR and Intellijel VCO 1U (in LFO mode). Joranalogue Contour 1 slews the notes going to Rings, and Expert Sleepers Disting Mk4 is used as a switch (triggered by PNW) to periodically swap the pitches being fed to Plaits and Rings.
