A pair of C40-8M engines pull a Canadian National "M338" train to the east towards Chicago. The train had just met an X337 at the Colvin Park siding.

A short M338 compared to what I've seen lately. A text from Mark Llanuza got me out of the house in a hurry and driving northwest. I didn't know how much time I had so I chose the sure, closer location rather than a better one farther away and chance missing it. But getting the exposure right in this tree-lined canyon with the sun low in the morning sky was a nightmare.
