Bang & Olufsen Beogram 8000 Tach-O- Disk replacement.

this video is on the steps to replace a defective Tach-O-Disk for a Beogram 8000
The original Tach O Disk was made of plastic and had a black printed pattern on a plastic disc which eventually rubs off and basically falls off. this is to replace the disc with an aluminum disc with the same pattern. and allows the turntable to read the speed properly.

Please note at the beginning of the video
I did not mention to remove the cartridge / stylus from the end of the tonearm. please take it out because you can damage the needle quite easily.
the reason why I did not is because that cartridge has already had its cantilever broken off..

also . I did not show how to remove and release the leaf springs that have the carriage floating inside to prevent noise from heavy foot walking on a floor this type of thing. you must push the springs down and then pull the Little j hooks up and out of the springs..
