In this video, Berklee Online instructor Chrissy Tignor explains how to create your own signal patches with Massive. She walks through all of the parts of the synth plug-in, and then shows you how to create a sound for electronic music from scratch. In this demonstration, she creates a sound that is common in electronic music called a “Super Saw.”

Chrissy Tignor Fisher is a producer, songwriter, recording engineer, and vocalist with a super-synthy pop style fused with EDM and hip-hop influences. She is a full-time faculty member in the Contemporary Writing and Production department at Berklee College of Music, and has worked with the likes of Alex Clare, Gary Go, Bastille, Lauren Hashian, and Notting Hill Music.
