Best Rust Encapsulating Paint... POR-15, KBS, Eastwood Platinum, Raptor Liner, Rust Bullet, Chassis Saver, & VHT Roll Bar and Chassis paint. Today we are going to compare various rust encapsulating paints. These products are all designed to be used over top of rust to stop rust on any metal surface. All of these products attempt to create a permanent barrier so moisture is sealed out and cannot attack the metal. Each product was tested on the same materials with the same amount of surface rust. I tested chip resistance, adhesion on both steel and aluminum, as well as flex-ability. This testing mostly revolves around rust encapsulators but I wanted to see how traditional chassis paint and truck bedliner compares to these products.
