Garden Project - Growing pineapple in Seattle

This is the same pineapple plant that I planted in 2018 (   • Garden Project (Aug 7) - pineapple ro...  ) and with the fruit that I broke off in 2022 (   • Garden Project - pineapple flower fro...  . I obtained the pineapple head from a coworker whose family is from Hawaii. She said this is a special pineapple variety called white Hawaiian pineapple. I think it is also called sugarloaf pineapple (correct me if I'm wrong).

This the second set of flowers produced by the same plant. I first discovered the flowers emerging from its new growth on January 24th of 2024. The pineapple flowers/fruit was kept for about 8 months and was harvested on September 1st 2024. The fruit was delicious. Very very sweet.
