Among the waves of immigrants to Wyo. territory in 1870 were groups of Chinese workers employed by the Union Pacific Railroad. Their arrival eventually led to the Rock Springs Massacre of 1885. This tragedy has often been told, but less well known is the tale of these resilient people, and the lives they created for themselves along the rail lines of Southwestern Wyoming.
