Human Ear | Class 4 I Learn with BYJU'S

Описание к видео Human Ear | Class 4 I Learn with BYJU'S

In the animal kingdom, most organisms possess an ear or a similar structure for interpreting sound. But it is more pronounced in mammals. The human ear has a complicated internal mechanism, but the only visible part is a structure called pinna. Some animals possess only a tympanum, which is similar to a human eardrum. Even invertebrates use sound to communicate - insects like the caterpillar use its body hairs to sense when predators are around. Animals like whales have ears, but they use their skull as well as jaws to receive sound.
