BREAKING UPDATE: The funeral of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar will be held tomorrow at 11 AM in Baramati. His mortal remains will be kept at Vidya Vikas Pratishthan from 4 PM today, with public darshan continuing till 1 AM.

Meanwhile, the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) has intensified its probe after reaching the crash site in Baramati. According to a Civil Aviation Ministry press release, the Learjet 45 crash occurred during landing amid concerns over visibility and approach conditions at the uncontrolled Baramati airfield.

Union Civil Aviation Minister Ram Mohan Naidu said poor visibility during the first approach forced the pilots to abort landing. After ATC clearance for a second attempt, the aircraft failed to respond. Flames were reported near Runway 11 at 8:44 AM, moments after landing clearance.

Investigators are also examining similarities with a previous Learjet 45 crash in 2023, operated by the same charter company. AAIB is analyzing ATC communication, weather data, flight recordings, and aircraft history to determine the exact cause.
