An old RPG I bloody loved as a kid! Dark Cloud had so many original elements that I admired and wasn't used to. I especially loved the Sim-based aspect where you would finds bits and pieces of towns in the dungeons and rebuild them the way you want to. I thought that was pretty cool. Plus the whole 'weapons-can-break' factor drew me in more for some reason. And a classic RPG isn't complete without colourful music like this one had. I think this game still holds up really fucking well. When you play it nowadays it screams in your face "EARLY PLAYSTATION 2!" lol but yeah, if you haven't played it yet, I highly recommend it! Not that long ago I managed to get a copy of this for dirt cheap, I was so surprised cus this game is really expensive now!

Whipping out my acoustic in this one! Haven't used my acoustic in a cover since my SSMB cover so had to dust it off a bit lol also went into a indie rock/punk direction with this cover. Wanted to catch some summer vibes cus I'm excited to do things this summer! Some Biffy Clyro influence can be heard here, the track 'A Whole Child Ago' came to mind when making the rhythms. Also messed around with compression in this one, I'm not great at compression cus I don't really understand how it works. But I think it came out pretty damn well.

I'm really happy with this one, it's fairly more straight forward than my other covers. And it's probably my first down-the-line happy cover I've ever done lol and the first of many. Hope you like it guys and get fucking hype for the summertime :P
