The heart and soul of Nature’s Edge, Terraza de Alma is designed for you to immerse yourself in mesmerizing views and dynamic ever-changing horizons that are sure to awaken your senses.

Inspired by the region’s abundant wildlife and jungle plant life, each casita was meticulously designed with its own distinctive vibe and vista. Our four casitas represent a playful marriage of posh comfort in an inspirational setting. Furnishings are hand-crafted by a local builder (“mueblero”) using Costa Rica’s famous Teak and Guanacaste hardwood.

Each well-appointed casita sleeps two, featuring a king-size bed with elegant linen and a private bathroom with open air shower. From the patio or deck, each casita offers its own unique and stunning vista. Whether you prefer jungle, mountains, cloud forest, or partial ocean views, we have a casita just for you. Enjoy the vistas from your oversized teak rocker with a cup of coffee or glass of wine.

All rooms contain Keurig coffee maker with reusable pods (we recycle use coffee grounds), complimentary coffee, toaster oven, service ware, safe, and ceiling fans. Bathrooms feature top quality towels, shampoo, conditioner and body wash plus hair dryer and retractable clothesline. One dedicated parking space is provided for each casita.

Our upper ridge casitas, Mariposa (butterfly) and Palmas (palms) will inspire you with soothing partial ocean views peeking out over the jungle canopy. On a clear day you can see the Osa Peninsula, home of the magnificent Corcovado National Park.

Our lower ridge casitas, Aracari (small toucan) and Heliconia (exotic flower) will inspire you with stunning view of the jungle, along with majestic views of mountains, cloud forests, and pastures. These views offer ideal opportunities for watching birds, butterflies, and wildlife.
