Gas Fees are a necessary cost for any transaction on the Ethereum blockchain. This cost is made up of a fee for a validator (Staker) who approves the transaction. GWEI is the unit used to calculate the transaction fee for the ETH network. As more transactions are made simultaneously on the network, this can be depicted as rush hour traffic on the freeway. In order to bypass this traffic, users can increase their gas fee as a tip to the Staker processing the transaction. In order to understand the costs associated with buying and selling NFTs, users should be aware of the fees that need to be paid for each transaction such as royalty, marketplace, buying and listing fees.
