WATCH THIS BEFORE BUYING A PULL-TYPE SNOW BLOWER

Описание к видео WATCH THIS BEFORE BUYING A PULL-TYPE SNOW BLOWER

We got about 10” of snow from the Colorado Low winter storm that just swept across the country from west to east. It’s about 8am and I needed to get the driveway cleared so we could start our day.

I am in a John Deere 4052R Snow Cab Edition with the Frontier SB1174P Pull type or inverted snow blower. With a pull-type snow blower you blow snow while driving and facing forward unlike a traditional rear hitch snow blower that requires you to go backwards.

In this video I wanted to show you the finished product and how the pull-type snowblower looks when in operation from the outside. Because one of the biggest issues people mention about pull-type snow blowers is that you drive over the snow before it reaches the blower. So, don’t the tractor wheels compact the snow? How can a pull-type blower do a good job? As you will see in this video that is absolutely not a problem. The machine runes on poly-glides which keep the blower just about 1” off the driveway. And as you can see in this video, the blower leaves a very even layer of snow without scraping the pavement.

I have two other videos about this snow blower:. Please check them out.
