The metal blades have a pleasant sound the is smooth and crisp compared to modern box fans and it is one of my favorite sounding fans.

Made by the Hunter Fan and Ventilation Company in Memphis Tennessee, USA, between the 1940's and 1960s.
Tech:
This was recorded in the studio using AKG CK91 cardioid microphones inside large blimp windscreens directly to a BlackMagic Designs Video Assist Recorder along with the Sony A7iii camera.
