Mandy and Jennifer's Proposal

Mandy hired GGIE (www.GoGetIt.org) to help her create an amazing marriage proposal for her girlfriend. Mandy brought Jennifer from Memphis to NYC to surprise her with a marriage proposal. Mandy, not being familiar with NYC, worked with Jenifour Jones of Go Get It Events and Proposals to brainstorm with her and help with logistics.

Since Jennifer loved Taylor Swift, Mandy decided to sing their song, "Love Story" to her in the park (even though Mandy was petrified to publicly sing). We set up a band to pretend to be park performers and Mandy convinced Jennifer to stroll through the park (in the rain) under the guise of seeing the Bethesda fountain.

Originally Mandy was going to be joined by all of the observers (who were band members in disguise) and they would all sing to Jennifer. However, once she saw Jennifer start to cry, she felt that she had to "go to her."
