Jonathan Majors, surrounded by supporters, accepted the Perseverance Award at the 4th Impact Awards in Los Angeles, his first since being convicted of assault and harassment.

In his speech, Majors thanked God, Hollywood Unlocked founder Jason Lee, and reflected on his arrest. He spoke about the anger, sadness, and fear he felt as a Black man in the criminal justice system, and the harsh reality that guilt and innocence often don't determine outcomes.

Tearing up, Majors received the award from Iyanla Vanzant. He acknowledged his imperfections, expressed love for his family, friends, and supporters, and shared how his faith has been tested and strengthened.

Majors thanked those who supported him, including Will Smith, Tyler Perry, David Oyelowo, Deon and Roxanne Taylor, Courtney B. Vance, and Whoopi Goldberg. He expressed deep gratitude to Meagan Good, calling her his "queen," and assured his daughter Ella of his love and that they would be alright.

After his conviction on two misdemeanor counts, Majors was sentenced to probation and a one-year domestic violence treatment program.
