Kevin and I thought it’d be a good idea to get together before the upcoming Sutter Creek Ragtime Festival to rehearse some of our more challenging duets. Because we like to track our progress, we record as many of our rehearsals and performances as we can. We’re finding a number of these rehearsals are decent enough to post without being flawless.

Bruce Huddleston of the High Sierra Jazz Band wrote this absolutely gorgeous country waltz in 2006. Since sheet music isn’t available, I transcribed this from a recording of the High Sierra Jazz Band performing it. This is one of Kevin and I’s favorite pieces to play.
