It’s no fun in watching a review without knowing the price of the product. So acknowledging that, we have enlisted the price of the phone in a few different countries so give the general overview.
Oppo Reno 2F price in Nepal: NPR 46,990 (approx US$400)
Oppo Reno 2F price in India: INR 25,990
Oppo Reno 2F price in Bangladesh: BDT 42,500
Oppo Reno 2F price in Pakistan: PKR 59,999

Since we are now done with the price, let’s talk about the Oppo Reno 2F features. Alongside the Realme, Reno is another sub-brand of the company, which garnered quite a lot of popularity with its shark-fin style pop-up camera and 10x zooming feature on the Oppo Reno 10X Zoom edition. Well, the Reno 10x Zoom was of a flagship kind. But the Reno 2F is a mid-range device. With “2” in its name, you can already guess it’s a second generation of Reno device.

Although the Reno 2F is a mid-range device, it shares the design language with the flagship ones. It comes with a glass back with barely any camera bump on the back. But if you compare Oppo Reno 2F vs Reno 2 design, you will notice a slight design change on the 2F. The Oppo Reno 2F features a regular type pop-up style selfie camera, whereas the Reno 2 comes with Shark-fin style front camera just like its predecessor. Nonetheless, both of these devices come with the same 16MP selfie snapper.

Talking about the rear camera, as I mentioned earlier, the phone packs a quad camera setup at the back. With so many cameras, you are also getting a wide range of options while capturing a subject. Going by the specs, the camera module packs a 48MP main camera, 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP mono lens.

Since the phone has so many cameras, I had so many expectation from the device. And being extremely excited, I went out and performing its camera test. But the phone didn’t disappoint. Most of images I captured during my Oppo Reno 2F camera review was really impressive. They had enough details to them and colors are also close to natural. However, the portrait mode was a hit or a miss. The phone had issues related to edge detection due to which most of the shots were barely usable. Other than that, I was pretty impressed with its camera prowess. I also did the Oppo Reno 2F vs Oppo F11 Pro, in which the Reno 2F performed better most of the times. Oppo also performed better on my Oppo Reno 2F vs Redmi K20 Pro camera comparison. But the K20 Pro had an edge over the 2F on the zooming front because of its telephoto lens.

Talking about the Reno 2F display, you get a 6.5-inch AMOLED panel here. The screen here features Full-HD+ resolution. In addition to looking all punchy and vibrant, the contents also look quite sharp on its screen. So, on Oppo Reno 2F vs Oppo A9 2020 display comparison, the Reno 2F wins the A9 by a mile. You also get a fingerprint scanner on this device, which is missing on the A9.

Let’s now talk about the performance. On the performance side, you get MediaTek Helio P70 chipset on this device. It’s the same processor used on the Oppo F11 and F11 Pro. Since Oppo hasn’t brought an upgrade on the performance front, it’s really disappointing. Maybe to counter that, Oppo has included a whopping 8GB of RAM. You get 128GB of storage under the hood. But despite having 8GB of RAM and Oppo’s Game Boost 2.0, the gaming performance wasn’t of top class as they promised. On my Oppo Reno 2F gaming review, I played quite a lot of games. But since it has a mid-range chip, high-end games weren’t that smooth. My Oppo Reno 2F PUBG wasn’t as delightful as I expected since I had to lower the graphics from HD settings to make the gameplay smooth.

As for the battery, you get a 4000mAh unit. Since the Oppo Reno 2F battery is high on capacity, it also promises an enduring battery life. The phone lasts for nearly two days on the normal use. Even if you are a heavy user, it will still back you up for a whole day. In addition to enduring battery, Oppo has also included a 20-watt VOOC Fast charging support. And on our Oppo Reno 2F battery charging test, the phone took around 80 minutes to get the device fully charged.
