If Find My iPhone is grayed out and you’re unable to turn it off, here’s how to fix it. Start by opening your iPhone’s Settings and go to Face ID & Passcode. Enter your passcode and locate the “Stolen Device Protection” feature. Turn it off—but keep in mind, due to security reasons, it won’t turn off immediately. You’ll need to wait for about an hour until a “Security Delay Ended” notification appears. Once it does, go back and turn off Stolen Device Protection completely.
