Challenger 2 main battle tank and other variants training 🇬🇧 🪖

Watch soldiers training with the Challenger 2 Main Battle Tank, which will soon be going to Ukraine. Also seen is a Challenger Armoured Repair and Recovery Vehicle and a Challenger Driver Training Tank of the British Army.

The UK has approved the donation of fourteen FV4034 Challenger 2 Main Battle Tanks to Ukrainian Armed Forces, who have been training in the UK.

The Challenger battle tank has never been destroyed in battle with enemy forces, despite coming under heavy fire in the Iraq War. The only reported incident of a Challenger 2 being destroyed was in a friendly-fire incident by another Challenger 2, in which two crew members were unfortunately killed.

Challenger 2 crew members have been injured in a number of other incidents in both conflict and training. A number of upgrades and improvement measures have been taken as a result of learning from these incidents.
