Coming out of the tunnel on Av. 27 de Febrero, I turned onto Av. Tiradentes, then onto Av. George Washington, and ended up on Isabel La Catolica Street, in the Colonial Zone. I never imagined that this area would look so beautiful and peaceful, since I imagined it to be full of petty criminals and litter. As far as I'm concerned, the Dominican Government has cleaned up the area, enhancing this beautiful national heritage, for the enjoyment of locals and foreigners. On the way, on George Washington, we saw a small amusement park next to the sea, which also had beautiful lights.
