Love 423 Wk 3 | Faith Gone Wrong: When Fear Becomes Our Focus

Ever wish you could see into the future? The funny thing is, many of us actually live like fortune tellers—predicting worst-case scenarios and filling the unknown with fear. This week, we’re diving into a powerful truth: Fear is just faith in the wrong things. Instead of letting fear control our decisions, we need to let our faith in someone (Jesus) replace our fear of something (the unknown, failure, rejection).

In today’s message, we’ll explore stories from Scripture where God called His people to step through fear and trust Him, like when the Israelites faced giants in the Promised Land or when Jesus calmed the storm. We’ll also look at how fear affects our relationships, often keeping us from connecting with others and sharing God’s love with our neighbors.

When we let our faith in God rise above our fears, we step into His promises, freedom, and purpose. Imagine what could happen if we chose faith over fear in every area of our lives. Let’s trust God and find the courage to live fully for Him!
