Testing a Dole Whip Recipe (as someone who’s never had Dole Whip)

Dole Whip, the refreshing treat we’ve never had and hear talked about a lot from people going to the Disney parks in both Florida and California. Well, we wanted to try it for ourselves and decided to test the recipe for it from The Unofficial Disney Parks Cookbook (releasing the video in celebration of the D23 Expo happening this weekend).

Now, there is some extra things I want to add that I didn’t manage to say in the video (does anyone else hate hearing themselves talk?): Of course this won’t be wholly accurate to the Dole Whip in the parks or even the recipe in this book. Our pineapple juice may be different from the pineapple juice used by the author (for instance, we don’t use yellow dye here in Europe— my Mum discovered) and we won’t be using the same industrial ice-cream machine from the Parks or even potentially the same ice-cream machine as the author. Both these things (and probably more) could affect our end products.

If you give this recipe a go (and I would if you want to) then you may have a different end result or you even may like sweeter things than we do. I hope you enjoyed. Sorry about the mic quality and my accent (hopefully you can understand me) and I hope you’re having a great day).
