What TO DO in SAN IGNACIO Belize

Описание к видео What TO DO in SAN IGNACIO Belize

When you travel to Belize, you most certainly will find yourself in the jungle town of San Ignacio, as it is a must-stop for most people.

Here, in the jungles, I explore the Mayan ruins - Xunantunich, check out the Green Iguana Conservation Project, and taste Belizean food. (Travel Documentary, 2022)

-Xunantunich. This Maya Site is one of the most popular archaeological sites in Belize. It is a driving force for the local economy. You can get a breathtaking view on top of the pyramids and can see Guatemala border. Also, here you can see iguanas and monkeys in the wild.

-Guava Limb restaurant. I tried a fresh coconut shrimp in this Instagrammable picturesque restaurant. They have great cocktails and generally is a fun place to hang.

-Green Iguana Conservation Project. A lot of Belizeans eat Iguanas, and unfortunately the Green Iguana numbers went down to the point that they now need conservation efforts. Here you can see and learn everything about them.
