In this video, I’m diving into the process of how LGBTQ+ individuals navigate their gender identity in the USA. From male to female and female to male transitions, we’ll explore how people express and introduce their gender identity, the work they do to transition, and how it is normalized in the USA. Interestingly, in the USA, it’s not just adults who engage in this process – even young children in public schools are introduced to gender identity education. Children as young as 6 years old are taught to select their gender as either he, she, or other identities, leading to an evolving understanding of gender fluidity.

But what does this mean for parents? Is it safe for your child to be exposed to these concepts at such a young age? In this video, I also touch on some of the concerns parents might have about their children growing up in an environment that teaches these ideas so early on.
