By going into the jungle every day, Eva and Lhamo can maintain their natural behaviors and stay healthy and happy.

En tant qu'éléphants, elles ont évolué pour vivre dans la nature, où elles ont accès à une végétation variée et peuvent adopter des comportements naturels tels que la recherche de nourriture, la socialisation et l'exploration. Le fait d'être en captivité sans possibilité de se déplacer et d'interagir avec leur environnement peut entraîner des problèmes de santé physique ainsi qu'une détresse psychologique. The non-profit organization Stand Up 4 Elephants (SU4E) was officially established in 2018. The organization engages directly with the local community, in Nepal, aiming to demonstrate alternative and sustainable ways of caring for elephants through the sanctuary in particuarly.

🐘 Who are Eva and Lhamo?

Eva and Lhamo are two elephants rescued from the tourism industry. They have spent most of their lives chained up behind hotels, in a stressful and dirty environment. The association has taken them in hand to help them regain a real elephant's life.

Since their arrival at the sanctuary, Eva and Lhamo's transformation has been a complete transformation.
They now live happily, well-fed and cared for. Most of their day is spent in the free, in the jungle.

L'organisation à but non lucratif Stand Up 4 Elephants (SU4E) a été officiellement créée en 2018. L'organisation s'engage directement avec la communauté locale, au Népal, visant à démontrer des moyens alternatifs et durables de prendre soin des éléphants à travers le sanctuaire en particulier.

🐘 Qui sont Eva et Lhamo ?

Eva et Lhamo sont deux éléphants sauvés de l'industrie du tourisme. Elles ont passé la majeure partie de leur vie enchaînées derrière des hôtels, dans un environnement stressant et sale. L'association les a recueillies pour leur permettre de retrouver une vraie vie d'éléphant.

Depuis leur arrivée au sanctuaire, la transformation d'Eva et de Lhamo est totale.
Elles vivent désormais heureuses, bien nourries et soignées. Elles passent la majeure partie de leurs journées en liberté dans la jungle.
