Custom "BurnOut" Servo Setup - FG Dragster Electronics

Описание к видео Custom "BurnOut" Servo Setup - FG Dragster Electronics

In this video I show you how to make a simple customized servo setup in an FG Sportsline 2WD. I've converted my Sportsline chassis to a 1970's Dodge Challenger, with lots of custom parts. In the video series you will be able to follow this build from the very start, to the point where it will finally start burning some rubber!

I want to be able to have a "burnout" setup, which means that I want to have a system which allows me to have full lock on the front brakes, while still being able to use the throttle and have the rear wheels spin freely. In order to do this, I added an additional servomount, installed some titanium geared Savöx servos, and bent an additional linkage. The main difference between the stock servo layout i that now I have created a possibility to mechanically override the front brakes, without suffering any performance loss in braking when using the car out on the track.

When you install your electronics in your gas powered car, always remember to use a killswitch. Killer RC has a great range of products that assist you in interrupting the ignition of the car and turning the engine off in case of emergency. Safety first, for yourself and those around you.

The parts numbers for the items I got from the FG webshop:

05019 Linkage connection
06534/02 Various linkage hardware
08461/05 Front brake linkage
69241 Servo mount
