Sometimes the best way to learn hoop dance is to learn from another's mistakes and progress. In this hula hoop dancing basics tutorial, I teach Abbey multiple hoopdance tips, including what to do with your hands while waist hooping, as well as exploring different hoop dance moves with the legs / feet, along with some other beginner hoop dance movements, while waist hooping.

The key to hula hoop dancing successfully is first learning how to move fluidly with the hoop, which we will look at in this video. Once you are able to move smoothly with your hoop. that's when you can start practicing various hoop dance combos, along with doing different hoop dance practices.
