Building the model ship Danmark, from a Billings Boats kit

Описание к видео Building the model ship Danmark, from a Billings Boats kit

Shows the stages in Ross Callaghan's build of the model ship "Danmark" - from an old Billings Boats kit. The "Danmark" is the training ship for the nation of Denmark and has been used in this role since the 1930s when the ship was built.
The model is 1.2 metres long, includes 20 sails, and is to a 1:75 scale. It took around 8 months to build. The video shows all stages of the build including laying down the hull, attaching the frames, planking, decking, making all the buildings and accessories on the decks. It shows how the masts, spars and sails were built and the fixed and running rigging. The end result is a really great model ship!
