Garrett finds Basso's loved Jenivere dying on the floor and hurries to see if Basso is in trouble as well.

Ector's second client job would be available right now, but I figured it wouldn't make any sense story-wise for Garrett to ditch his best friend and best contact in the City, who is probably dying soon if not dead already, just to earn more cash for himself.

Apparently there's a civil war brewing in the City. I didn't quite feel it when I played, and it feels even less like it in this video because the guy supposed to speak against the Baron in front of the clock tower in Stonemarket didn't actually deliver any speech here, and even if he had there'd only be 2 other guys listening and nobody, not even the City Watch, doing anything about it. I'm sorry, but three guys talking at the market place while the "oppressors" are just casually walking by doesn't really spell "uprising" to me. If that really does constitute as a demonstration, then we had a lot of those during recess back in school.
