The Memory Loop- One Take/Long Take Exercise at SRFTI, Kolkata

The tunnel is a dreamscape of memories of man in his 70s. Zones of the tunnel are recreated along the memories of the protagonist as he changes from being an aged man in Zone 1 to a child crawling in the sand in Zone 4.

This project was done in the studios of SRFTI, Kolkata on a tight budget of USD 200. It was intense prep work and a lot has to be credited to our director Mohamad Ali, for his cinematic vision. Every shoot day in film school is a learning and this one taught us a lot. I hope you will enjoy watching our Long Take exercise as much as we enjoyed working on it.
