There were a lot of new discoveries made by the Golden Sun Speedrunning community in the last few weeks and I was very impressed to see how quickly runners were able to find creative ways to exploit them. One of the new discovered exploits, the Poison Abuse, has the potential to save approximately eleven minutes in a run. This partly explains why I was able to save so much time since my last submission.

The rest of the time saved mostly came by running from fights more often, using other glitches, getting better control execution and having better knowledge of the route.

From now, in order to improve my time, I should practice more the endgame, learn how to clear encounters faster and reduce the time spent on the menu. Nevertheless, I am very proud of the progress I was able to achieve during the last few weeks.

This run wouldn't be possible without the Golden Sun Speedrunning community. Those people love the Golden Sun Franchise and are dedicated to make this speedrun as accessible as possible. Without their incredible work, I am certain that I wouldn't be able to complete this game under seven hours.
