Breathing air cascade system onboard an offshore vessel.
This system is used in emergency situation to supply breathing air to crew if there is a H2S gas leak in vicinity and fresh air is contaminated by hydrogen sulphide gas.
Mostly used on offshore vessels and oil rigs/platforms.
The ship is a DPII construction support vessel or CSV currently configured for cable laying job.
