Zach Lefebvre of TreeHouse Guitars crafts a small selection of instruments each year, creating small to mid-sized guitars that are perfectly suited to the sonic needs of many fingerstylists, and cohesively adorned with patinated copper and ebony inlays. His OMZ design is a little larger than the classic OM, but just enough to add to the volume output without changing the ergonomics. This one unites two stunning tonewoods: moon spruce and Honduran rosewood. We know "articulate" gets thrown around a lot, but never has the adjective applied to a guitar more. From low to high, each note has a strong, ringing fundamental that leaps out of the guitar with the slightest touch. It sets the bar for crisp, clear and responsive, making it well-suited for all modern players whether they use a pick or fingers. The soundport gives the player instant feedback and enhances the overall output, and the subtle blues of the patinated copper give it a stand-out look.
