It was an honor and privilege to be an organizing secretary of recently concluded PKHC 2023 (Punjab knee & hip course). A first of its kind academic bonanza held at Amritsar on 17-18th June. Stalwarts in Arthroplasty across country did live surgeries (Robotic total knee replacement and total hip replacement with Naviswiss device). The quality of discussion generated out of the topics related to joint replacement was eye opener for many.

There was tremendous zeal to learn amongst the delegates as the hall remained full from dawn to dusk. The active participation made the discussions even more fruitful. I’m sure that the knowledge gained in this event will be helpful to the patients of our region who otherwise need to travel to far off places for the treatment.

Donning the turbans and Kurta Pyjamas at dinner added some fun after extensive learning. On the whole a landmark meeting in Arthroplasty where we hope to increase the level of learning in subsequent meetings.
