ASEGÚRESE DE TIRAR LA HOJA TOTALMENTE HACIA ATRÁS; incluso aflojar la tuerca podría liberar la tensión. Eso envía el émbolo volando. Se debe jalar el gatillo para borrar el ABT.

Muchos destruyen su arma sin saber que el brazo ABT apretará el gatillo adentro si la hoja del gatillo no se toca. Esta es una forma muy común en que los tiradores SE AUTODESTRUYEN su Red Ryder.

The anti bear trap (ABT) is plunger and ABT. Some think the plunger gets stuck inside the frame because the screw is too tight. THE SCREW MAY NEED TO BE TAKEN ALL THE WAY OUT AS YOU HOLD THE TRIGGER BACK.

Before you remove screw, point the gun down, and pull the trigger while you smack the left side with the heel of your left hand. That can work.

⚠️Make sure you TRIED to cock it seven clicks. If you DID - and lever is FULL forward or won't go fully with serious force - and the lever is slack and TRIGGER SLACK, that is a plunger/ABT misalignment.⚠️

BE SURE TO PULL THE BLADE FULLY BACKWARDS; even loosening the nut could release the tension. That sends the plunger flying. The trigger must be pulled to clear the ABT.

Many destroy their gun not knowing that the ABT arm will pull the trigger in if the trigger blade is not touched. This is a very common way that owners SELF-DESTRUCT their Red Ryder.
