On Prime Time, we ask whether the justification of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board to allow Muslims continue with the practice of triple Talaq saying that their religion mandates such rules for divorce is valid. Many Muslim scholars as well as women's rights activists say that their religious texts do not allow any bias between gender and therefore giving men the upper hand in divorce proceedings is against the tenets of their religion itself.
