Join us for Part 1 of our New York adventure, covering 30th & 31st December as we kick off our 4 night NYC stay before boarding Queen Mary 2 for our 8 night eastbound transatlantic crossing!

This episode follows our journey from London Heathrow to JFK, exploring iconic NYC landmarks, walking the Brooklyn Bridge by day and night, exploring DUMBO and the Financial District, visiting the 9/11 Memorial, discovering the Oculus, Battery Park and celebrating New Year’s Eve on a party cruise with fireworks over the Statue of Liberty. What a start to the trip!

TRAVEL DAY: LONDON TO NEW YORK
We start by heading to Heathrow, checking in with British Airways, grabbing breakfast at Wagamama, and hopping on the transit to our gate.

DAY 1: EXPLORING BROOKLYN & DUMBO
After a quick nap, we head straight out to explore:
• Walk across the Brooklyn Bridge
• Wander through DUMBO
• Visit Main Street Park for views of both bridges
• Hunt down the Time Out Market
Crossing the bridge again at night was a surreal, pinch me moment — NYC really hits different after dark.

NEW YEAR’S EVE IN NYC
A powerful and emotional morning at the 9/11 Memorial, followed by exploring:
• The Oculus
• The Winter Garden
• Waterfront views of Jersey City & the Statue of Liberty
• Trinity Church & the Financial District
• A quick bite and coffee before the celebrations begin
