Idiappam recipe in Tamil

Ingredients

Roasted Rice flour -1cup
water-1.5 cup
salt- To taste
Oil-1tsp

Method
Boil Water with salt and oil..
Lower the flame and slowly add rice flour and mix well with a wooden spatula ..
Close the vessel and remove from the stove top and keep aside for 15 min ..
Then open the vessel and
transfer to a big bowl and continue mixing ..
When the mix is still warm but not too hot to handle ,grease your hands and knead to a soft dough
Take one portion of the dough and close the remaining with a thin cloth and again with a lid to keep the moist
Take the idiyappam press and put the dough and press into desired shapes or if u r using idly steamer then shape of a idly
Steam for 5 minutes
