Updates to NDI can impact everyone in the production space. When it comes to digital video, NDI is the glue that lets different vendor products interoperate, makes cloud-based productions possible, and provides a level of flexibility in our workflows that is – simply put – transformative.

Last week, NDI 5.5 was released into production. While not as groundbreaking as NDI 5, it is a welcome update that further optimizes performance, provides enhancements to some existing NDI tools, and introduces a new Router utility that is definitely the highlight of this release.

On today’s show, we will go over the key enhancements and new capabilities found in NDI 5.5 and discuss a few use-cases they now enable.
