The Internet has given us many heartwarming stories about the friendships of different animals but even the most active users are amazed with this odd couple - Gertje and Lammie.

Gertje, an orphaned rhino calf, at first had much trouble adapting at the Endangered Species Centre but only until the animal met a true friend – a lamb from the nearby farm in Pretoria, South Africa.

These two immediately hit it off and now can rarely be seen separately. The rhino enjoys Lammie’s company a lot, it can be even seen in Gertje’s mimicking of the lamb’s behavior.
